Consider size, power, noise level and speed settings. Also, consider being able to rotate and adjust the tilt to direct air where it's needed most.
Turn off and unplug it. Remove the grill and wipe the blades and grill with a soft cloth. Make sure the fan is dry before reconnecting it.
